Kuala Lumpur Deer Park

Kuala Lumpur Deer ParkLocation: Lake Gardens
Highlights: The Park houses many species of the deer.
How To Reach: One can reach Deer Park by hiring taxis or by boarding buses, trains from the city.

Kuala Lumpur Deer Park is a square that is dedicated to these beautiful, gentle and intelligent creatures of God. Situated in surging slopes and expansive vale of Lake Gardens, the Deer Park sprawls in about 2 hectares of green land. This carefully selected unruffled area has been developed into a suitable habitat for the deer. And for sure, once been here, these striking creatures will fascinate you to the core.

Furthermore, the park is strategically landscaped and is dotted with lush trees and shrubs to guarantee a cooling habitat. Here you can also witness the smallest hoofed animal of the world. Yes it's true, the rainforest mouse deer or kancil, which is Malaysia's most famous deer, can be seen in the park. Moreover, it's nice to smaller species like that of hinds, does, and fawns roaming without any fear in the valley.

Around the park, there are several ponds that offer water to the creatures and add to the picturesque vista. At the edge of the valley, quite close to the stream, one can easily see numerous mousedeer engaged in their own routines. The best thing about KL Deer Park is visitors are allowed to enjoy the company of these adorable creatures. Further to your delight, these friendly deer come closer to be fed while you watch them.
